After eight seasons away in the Cheshire Cricket Pyramid, we are delighted to announce that Hawk Green will be rejoining the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League for the 2027 season.
Hawk Green last competed in the D&CCL in 2018, and their return marks another exciting step in the continued growth and strength of our league following on from Kerridge CC joining us this season.
League Chairman Alistair Stevens said:
“As chairman of our league I am really excited to welcome Hawk Green back into the D&CCL for the 2027 season and I look forward to visiting their ground and catching up with many old friends.
As we continue to grow participation throughout all areas it is remarkable how many associate clubs are taking part in our junior Sunday and women’s competitions, and as we look to expand our Saturday league to four divisions we look to attract more local teams to our superbly organised and competitive league.”
We look forward to seeing Hawk Green back on our grounds, renewing old rivalries, and contributing to an exciting new chapter in the league’s history.
