Hazel Grove Cricket Club is proud to welcome players, supporters, families, and cricket lovers from across Derbyshire, Cheshire and beyond to the DCCL Mary Smith High Peak Cup Women’s Finals Day 2026.
On Sunday 6th September, Wesley Park will come alive with top‑tier women’s cricket, great food, family fun, and a brilliant community atmosphere as four fantastic clubs compete for this year’s title.
Whether you’re backing Mobberley, Romiley, Old Glossop or Stalybridge—or simply coming along to enjoy a great day of cricket—you’ll find everything you need to know right here.
📍 Venue & Arrival Information
The event takes place at Hazel Grove Cricket Club, located at Wesley Park, Newby Rd Industrial Estate, Hazel Grove, SK7 5DR.
Please follow the event signage on Newby Road (look out for the post box!). Parking is available in the main HGCC car park, though spaces are limited. Additional parking is plentiful throughout the Industrial Estate just outside the main gate.
Pedestrian access is also available via the footbridge next to Hazel Grove train station.
Spectators are encouraged to bring camping chairs, picnic blankets, and anything else that helps you settle in for a full day of cricket.
🏏 Match Schedule
Gates open at 9:15am, with three huge fixtures across the day:
10:00am – Mobberley vs Romiley
1:00pm – Old Glossop vs Stalybridge
4:00pm – THE FINAL
Each of the four finalists will have their own fan zone, so supporters are encouraged to decorate their area with club colours, flags, and banners to create a vibrant, competitive atmosphere.
🍕 Food, Drink & Refreshments
You won’t go hungry at Finals Day! Hazel Grove CC has put together a brilliant mix of food and drink options:
Bacon barms served from 10am until midday
American hotdogs (including a gluten‑free option) available inside the pavilion from midday until 4pm
Smoke & Fire Pizza serving fresh wood‑fired pizzas throughout the afternoon
Tuck shop open all day with sweets, crisps, cakes and treats
There will be two bars on site:
A fully stocked draught bar courtesy of Viaduct Pop-Up Bars
A pavilion bar serving wine, prosecco, hot drinks and soft drinks
Please note: Only alcoholic drinks purchased at the event may be consumed on the premises.
🎶 Entertainment & Family Fun
Finals Day is designed to be a celebration for everyone—not just the players.
Across the ground you’ll find:
A children’s play area with toys and ride-ons
Music throughout the day
A live MC keeping supporters updated, energised, and entertained
It’s a true community day out, with something for all ages.
🎥 Film My Match Coverage
We’re delighted to welcome Film My Match, who will be capturing both semi-finals and the big final. Their team will be operating a mix of elevated stationary cameras and roaming manned cameras positioned around the ground to ensure every key moment is recorded.
Clubs and supporters will be able to enjoy high-quality footage after the event—perfect for reliving the action or sharing standout moments.
