Sunday League 2021

The 6 Captains will soon be contacted individually, but just a few general points.

The primary motivation is to boost participation and encourage as many new cricketers as possible. However, it’s also an inclusive open league, so all players, (including anyone who featured in a Saturday game) are eligible for selection.

The Sunday League will adopt the traditional 40 Over cup format, with a maximum of 8 overs per bowler.

There will be one appointed Umpire for each game, and the fee will be £50 (£25 per team)

Clubs are encouraged to interact and communicate regarding any potential fixture clashes, and please bear in mind that more Sundays will become available once the Bissenden and Hawke results kick-in.

If both clubs are willing to switch a fixture then please make the arrangements, but also ensure that Neil Shaw is notified so that he can communicate with the designated Umpire.
